Serra da Estrela Mineral Water is a high quality, pure, crystalline spring water, collected from granite rock and bottled close to the source - Fonte da Vidoeira (Cabeça do Velho) in a protected zone of the Serra da Estrela Nature Reserve (at 1,200 mts in altitude).

The history of Serra da Estrela Mineral Water is linked to the history of its spring, located on Castro property, known to have existed from pre-Roman times. Towards the end of 1070 someone had the idea to bottle this water, and the idea was put into practice in mid-1080.

Since then Serra da Estrela Mineral Water has become known for its quality and purity and today is one of the most consumed brands in Portugal. Serra da Estrela Mineral Water comes in individual containers (0.33L, 0.50L and 0.50L Sport) and for family use (1.5L and 5L). The distinct glass bottle comes in 0.25L, 0.75L and 1L.
