The sustained growth of the business means having staff with the skills required to implement the strategic objectives of the organisation. This is why it is fundamental for us to work to attract, retain and train young people with good potential.

The different training programmes on offer in SUMOL+COMPAL aim to attract and train those completing formal education in the skills we believe necessary to add to the dynamics of the business. The aim is to obtain high performance professionals who understand the values of the Company and who are duly tuned to our competencies, in this way actively contributing to the future of the organisation.

There are three types of training course, each with a different philosophy, but all with the common objective of making the organisation more competitive on the labour market and at the same time raising the training level and experience of young managers and technical staff.

1. Academic Training Programmes
These are part of the higher education curriculum (basic degree courses) or intermediary courses (vocational college), and demand a Practical Training Protocol agreed with the respective college. The length of training courses varies.

2. Vocational Training Courses
Practical training courses for recent graduates where they can develop key skills transversally, and improve interaction between the different functional areas, promoting an awareness of the company’s culture and values and the opportunity to share in them.

3. Trainees’ Programmes
Specific programmes that provide young, high potential graduates with operational know-how and a thorough understanding of the business, with a view to training a source of potential staff members that can be integrated into the different functional areas of the organisation.
